FAQs

Is it easy to book a firework display?

Yes it can be very easy.  You can rest assured that everything involved to display fireworks can be taken care of by our team.  The only thing you are left to deal with is making your event run just as smoothly.

Will I need to organise insurance?

No.  All the insurance needed for the firework display will be in place and one less thing for you to worry about.

Do I need to notify the police or fire brigade?

For a smaller display there is no need to notify the emergency services although it would be considerate to let your neighbours know if they are close enough to be affected at all.  Posting on your local social media sites is a good way to let animal owners know and plan. For larger displays and public events it is customary to notify the local council.  They can let you know who to contact depending on the location and size of the display.  If you wish we can do this on your behalf.

What time can I have my firework display?

Legally fireworks can be let off any time between 7am and 11pm except for a few special days (Bonfire Night, New Years, Diwali, etc).  We find the best time for standard fireworks is just after dusk and daytime fireworks is just before dusk as these times give the best colour.  But anytime that fits in with your event, during the legally allow times, can be arranged.

Will I still be able to have my firework display if it rains?

Absolutely!  Fireworks are largely unaffected by most weathers.  We can cope with rain and snow.  The only weather that causes any concern is high winds.  If weather should be a consideration, we will fully converse with yourselves about options.
